Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the SWPL’s content and communications plan as well as delivering consistent, high-quality social media and website content. The successful candidate will also support the SWPL’s Head of Operations and Partnerships in the delivery and activation of the SWPL’s commercial and broadcast commitments and be a key point of contact for the media.
Experience And Qualifications:
1. Degree educated.
2. At least two years’ experience in a similar role. Sports industry experience is not required but would be beneficial.
3. An excellent communicator, written and oral.
4. Confident dealing with a range of stakeholders on a day-to-day basis.
5. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
6. Ability to develop online graphics and templates to promote SWPL competitions.
7. Understanding of website content management platforms.
8. Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and measurement of effectiveness.
9. Knowledge of women’s football.
10. Excellent administration and organisation skills.
11. Proactive, dynamic and happy to work on own initiative.
12. Ability to work at pace, managing conflicting demands and deadlines.
13. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
14. Ownership – of the role and tasks.
15. Passionate about driving women’s football forward.
16. Willingness to work weekends and, on occasion, evenings as required.
