The Opportunity
Step into a leadership role as a Production Manager, where your primary goal is to ensure exceptional service for internal and external stakeholders while overseeing production processes of this crucial hub, working Monday to Friday with an element of flexibility on when you work. This role emphasises customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and a collaborative approach to management. Here's what makes this opportunity unique:
* Take charge of customer interactions by understanding their needs, delivering tailored solutions, and ensuring products are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards. These deliveries will come via road, rail or barge so planning via various different modes of transport will be necessary.
* Lead and motivate the production team, fostering a customer-first mindset across all operations.
* Collaborate closely with sales, customer service, and operations teams to identify opportunities to improve service, resolve challenges, and exceed expectations.
* Oversee production activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations in alignment with customer and company goals.
Who You Are
You’re a dynamic leader with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and the ability to inspire teams to achieve excellence. Here’s what makes you a great fit:
* Proven experience in production or operations management, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and production processes.
* CIWM (WAMITAB) would be beneficial but not essential.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams and build lasting customer relationships.
* A proactive problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and embraces challenges.
* Familiarity with safety regulations and operational best practices to ensure smooth and compliant production processes.
* Skilled in balancing customer needs with operational efficiency, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
