Our client is seeking a dedicated Business Development Specialist to join their team of 25, supporting the sales department with service-focused growth. ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Business Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by promoting our services department to current product owners. Your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Inbound sales inquiries to support the sales team.
2. Proactively generating leads and targeting product owners to engage them in our service offerings.
3. Conducting Teams meetings and calls - no face-to-face meetings required.
4. Working alongside our dedicated sales team (10 members) to expand service sales and develop new business opportunities.
This is a high-volume, soft sales role focused on relationship-building and delivering exceptional service to already existing customers of the Products.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate will have:
1. A proven track record of maintaining and expanding existing business by phone.
2. Confidence in a small business setting, especially in a sales environment.
3. The ability to work independently, displaying self-discipline and initiative.
4. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
5. Proficiency in PC skills, including Outlook, Word, Microsoft Suite, CRM, and database management.
