Job Description
To maintain and repair the Heavy Goods trailers of the TIP Group assets (primarily trailers) and its customers' own assets at customer sites/VMUs/TIP workshops or roadside, ensuring a measured quality standard.
Responsibilities:
1. Inspect, service, and repair trailers to a high maintenance standard, ensuring conformity to all current company EHS guidelines, policies, procedures, and mandatory EHS legislation.
2. Ensure all compliance details are completed accurately and promptly.
3. Undertake all required training as deemed necessary by the company.
4. Provide high levels of customer service while working to specified deadlines.
5. Always adhere to the company’s health & safety policies and procedures.
6. Conduct oneself in a manner that demonstrates TIP values & behaviors.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Must be a “Time Served” technician or possess City & Guilds 1, 2 & 3 Certificates or equivalent qualifications & experience, with a technical background in trailer repairs.
* Welding experience - preferable.
* High level of enthusiasm & good communication skills.
* Basic knowledge of computers and ability to complete relevant written documentation.
* Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
* Initiative to work autonomously if required.

Job Type:
Permanent full-time – 10-hour shifts, Mon-Fri, with 30 mins paid break per day and 1 hr unpaid lunch break.
