Boots Healthcare Logistics sits within Boots Supply Chain Operations and is focussed on delivering pharmaceuticals from stores directly to patients inclusive of Hospitals, Care Homes & Residents. This an exciting time to join as BHL looks to expand its operation taking on third party clients, challenging the way we do business and deliver to customers. Reporting into the Regional Operations Manager; you’ll be leading your team of drivers to ensure that our customer base receive the correct prescriptions, in the right quantity at the right time, ensuring that standards are high. Your team will consist of around 20-50 BHL drivers, that you’ll play a key role in motivating, developing and coaching to ensure that they provide an excellent service for customers. You’ll also manager a Team Coordinator to support with day-to-day activities and planning for your team. You’ll also: Build great relationships with key stakeholders Ensure adherence to all standards & policies e.g. Standard Operating Procedures, Health & Safety while Acting as an Ambassador for Boots & BHL always Deliver outstanding customer care across all BHL customers. Driving the service to be flexible, agile & reliable What you’ll need to have The role requires a full driving licence with less than 6 points The role is subject to a satisfactory DBS check Good people management skills with an ability to effectively influence a team who work remotely.
