As an Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing client portfolios, reviewing accounts, and supporting junior team members. This is a client-facing role with opportunities to build strong relationships and play a key part in the firm's continued success.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Manager:
* Accounts Review & Supervision – Oversee and review accounts prepared by junior team members, providing guidance and support
* Client Management – Own a portfolio of clients, address queries, and develop strong relationships to support their financial needs
* Workflow & Portfolio Oversight – Manage work-in-progress (WIP), billing, and ensure efficient workflow across client accounts
* Practice Leadership – Contribute to the growth of the firm through proactive client engagement and team development
Requirements of the Accounts Manager:
* Qualified by Experience (QBE), AAT Level 4, ACCA, or ACA, with a background in accountancy practice
* Strong experience in preparing and reviewing accounts, with excellent attention to detail
* Confident in managing client relationships and handling queries with professionalism
