Job Description
Our Commercial Lead role offers a hybrid working arrangement based out of our Dundee Head Office, balancing in office collaborating with the flexibility of home working.
In this key role you'll:
* Lead and Develop the Commercial Service: Guide our global sales process with expert support at critical stages—ensuring sound decision-making during proposals and contracting, and providing insightful business analysis during targeting and discovery phases.
* Drive Global Pricing Strategy: Design, implement, and deploy Insights’ global pricing strategy. You lead the execution of this strategy in partnership with the client project management team, sales and finance communities.
* Optimise Solution Bids: Plan and manage the commercial aspects of solution bids, ensuring commercial targets are achieved within proposals.
* Manage Performance: Oversee the Commercial Pricing Specialists and external resources, ensuring effective performance and contribution to key pricing projects.
* Engage Stakeholders: Manage inputs and outputs for the Pricing Committee, keeping all stakeholders informed and aligned with pricing decisions and actions.

* Commercial Analysis: Proficiency in business and commercial analysis in global sales contexts.
* Negotiation Support: Experience assisting sales teams with customer negotiations during procurement cycles.
* Financial Modelling: Expert in financial modelling, data analysis, and using statistical techniques.
* Excel & Financial Systems: Advanced Excel skills and experience with Microsoft Navision or similar systems.
* Stakeholder Relationships: Strong relationship management with key stakeholders.
* Communication & Presentation: Excellent at presenting data visually through graphs and infographics.
* Planning & Organisation: Highly organised with strong planning abilities to deliver on priorities.
