Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a well known and reputable business in Sheffield as they look to recruit a new Payroll Manager into the team. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of a monthly payroll for approximately 300 employees. The hours are 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday (35 hours per week) and there is opportunity to work from home 1 day per week. The company offers some excellent benefits which include: - 25 days holiday Bank Holidays Enhanced maternity & paternity schemes Life insurance package Duties will include: - Direct line management of 1 member of staff Undertake and lead payroll processing for the company Budgeting and reporting on variances Control and oversee the time and attendance system Understand and lead on taxation and engage with HMRC on tax issues Produce monthly insights into staffing costs Processing of P11ds Calculate holiday accruals Ensure that all correspondence and queries are dealt with in a timely manner To be successful you will possess the following skills and experiences: - At least 3 years experience in Payroll (end to end) Previous supervisory experience in payroll Excellent communication skills Excellent attention to detail The ability to work to tight deadlines and cope well under pressure Hold or working towards a professional payroll qualification (Preferable) Sage Payroll 50 experience (Preferable) If you are interested in this role, please send in your CV today
