We are seeking a results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in our outbound sales and partnerships initiatives.
Role Overview
As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for outreach, prospecting, and appointment setting to drive business growth and partnership opportunities. You will be a key player in the sales pipeline, identifying potential partners, booking meetings, and working closely with both the sales and partnerships teams to accelerate deal flow.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify and research potential business partners and key decision-makers.
2. Conduct outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, phone calls, and other digital channels.
3. Initiate conversations to generate interest and qualify leads for partnerships and sales.
4. Engage with potential partners and clients to schedule high-quality meetings.
5. Work alongside the Partnerships and Sales teams to ensure a seamless booking process.
6. Follow up with prospects to confirm interest and prepare them for scheduled meetings.
7. Work closely with the Sales and Partnerships teams to align outreach strategies.
8. Provide detailed notes and insights on prospects to optimize sales conversions.
9. Ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads to Sales Executives and Partnerships Managers.
10. Maintain accurate and updated records of outreach activities and lead progress in CRM.
11. Track key performance metrics such as response rates, booked meetings, and conversion rates.
12. Continuously optimize outreach and appointment-setting strategies based on performance data.
Ideal Candidate Profile
1. 1-3 years of experience in sales development, business development, or partnership outreach.
2. Proven ability in outbound prospecting and appointment setting.
3. IT literate with experience using CRM systems, sales engagement tools, and digital prospecting platforms.
4. Social-savvy – experienced in leveraging LinkedIn, Twitter, and other platforms for business development.
5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and persuade decision-makers.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
7. Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with sales and partnerships teams.
8. Experience in B2B sales, SaaS, fintech, or digital partnerships.
9. A track record of exceeding appointment-setting and conversion targets.
