Are you passionate about caring for the environment? Working on multiple sites, no two days are the same. You will be presented with unique challenges, whether it’s using your expertise to plan a job or deliver a high standard installation within agreed time and budget. All tools, PPE and equipment are provided supporting our technicians in their daily role.

You will be a fully mobile worker covering the Northumbrian region, starting and finishing from home. At NWG we recognise potential, offering development and growth opportunities for people to progress internally.
The role requires participation in an occasional out of hour’s standby rota to cover installation projects out of hours. We will ensure that you have the relevant training and experience required to do this. Additional payments are made for standby, callouts and any additional hours worked.
This role is defined as a Safety and Security Critical role and prospective employees are required to undertake a drug and alcohol test after the job offer has been made. This will be prior to or within four weeks of their start date.
Prospective employees and agency workers who fail a pre-employment urine drug screen will have their sample analysed by the Company appointed laboratory as a matter of course. Failing a pre-employment drugs or alcohol test may lead to the job offer being revoked.
About you
We are looking for candidates with a can-do attitude, and a willingness to learn and explore new ways of working. You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal and be a strong team player. A strong Health and Safety ethic is an important part of our Everybody Home Safe Everyday culture. A basic level understanding of MS Office is desirable as is contractor engagement and Construction (Design and Management) regulations, but these skills can be developed with the right candidate.
