Locum Child Protection/Children in Need Social Worker - Macclesfield - £39 Hourly Full Time
Are you ready for an exciting opportunity in the beautiful town of Macclesfield? We are on the lookout for experienced Social Workers to join our Child Protection and Children in Need Service. You will be part of a vibrant team that covers cases from referral through to care proceedings, including duty and assessment, CIN, CP, pre-proceedings, and private law cases. This locum position offers flexibility, variety, and the chance to make a genuine difference in children's lives. The role requires you to be in the office three days a week, working from 08:30 to 17:00 Monday to Friday.

What you will do:
1. Manage cases from referral through to care proceedings, including Child in Need and Child Protection cases.
2. Conduct assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with families.
3. Provide ongoing support to children and families, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
4. Work as part of a dedicated team to ensure effective communication and coordination of services.
5. Attend court hearings and provide expert evidence as required.
