Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. We are looking for someone relatively flexible for up to 18 hours per week. No weekend working. Shifts will be agreed once a suitable candidate has been found. We ideally would like someone to start in January 2025 but can also be flexible on the start date.
Duties
1. Greet patients in a warm and professional manner.
2. Answer phone calls promptly, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
3. Handle enquiries regarding all treatment types offered by the practice.
4. Maintain an organised reception area.
5. Assist with administrative tasks as required, including managing correspondence and scheduling appointments, basic money handling including end of day banking.
6. Basic invoicing to self-funding patients and insurance companies.
Experience
1. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
2. A keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
3. Demonstrated experience in customer service roles will be highly regarded.
