Position:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an MCN Manager for Heart Disease and Stroke based at University Hospital Crosshouse.
What you will do:
The post holder should be educated to degree level with evidence of postgraduate study to Master level or equivalent experience. A minimum of 3 years NHS Management preferably in heart or stroke, MCN, clinical audit, guideline implementation work with primary and/or secondary care would be essential.
Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
Experience in project management at a senior level, evidence of continuous professional development and engaging healthcare professions in service improvement and organizational change would also be essential to the post. The post holder would have knowledge and understanding of key health policies and strategic direction of health in NHS Scotland and NHS Ayrshire and Arran, in particular relating to stroke and cardiology.
We are looking for a motivated, dynamic, enthusiastic person with excellent communication skills who can think strategically and laterally and would be computer literate at a high level which would include presentation and organizational skills.
Hours:
37 hours per week
Driving Licence/Car Ownership:
A car licence/car ownership is essential to this role.
