Lead Pharmacist - Audit and Transformation
Job summary

As AIT Pharmacist, you will represent pharmacy externally and at Trust meetings, liaising closely with other Trust leaders and managers. You will also be an experienced clinical pharmacist, ideally with strong mental health experience.
Main duties of the job
* Major input into Pharmacy Vision, with senior Pharmacy team.
* Responsibility for the ongoing development delivery of our Pharmacy vision.
* Ensuring effective implementation and operation of pharmacy AIT plans.
* Responsible for the ongoing development, audit and oversight of our change plans.
* Be a clinically active member of the Pharmacy Service (circa 50% of time), in either mental or physical health services.
* Participating in the paid on-call (EDC) pharmacy service (approx. 1 in 10).

To be considered for this role, you must have:
* Great AIT delivery skills and strong relevant change experience.
* A hospital clinical pharmacist background, with a strong patient focus, clinical skills and knowledge.
* Good systems thinking, with a collaborative can-do approach.
Person Specification
Education/Qualifications/Training
Essential
* Master's degree in pharmacy or equivalent.
* Statutory registration - General Pharmaceutical Council.
Desirable
* Royal Pharmaceutical Society of GB Member.
* Postgraduate Clinical diploma or equivalent experience.
* Management qualification.
Continuous Professional Development
Essential
* Evidence of continuing professional development (GPhC).
* Experience of audit, projects and managing change.
* Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team.
* Experience of undertaking and developing audits.
Desirable
* Delivery of pharmacy services across a range of areas.
* Experience of budget reports (preparing or analysis).
* Involvement in developing a service within pharmacy.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Essential
* Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
* IT competencies across a range of common software.
* Advanced keyboard skills and computer literate, with the ability to use software packages (including pharmacy IT systems and electronic patient records).
* Basic project management skills.
* Ability to travel independently and efficiently between Trust locations to fulfil the requirements of the role.
