Key Responsibilities
* Repairs, modifications and routine maintenance of Hot Stamp, Cold Stamp, Laser and Patch Cell processes.
* Carry out fault finding activities and undertake timely repair of equipment in the following areas: Robotics, PLCs, Electrical Control Systems, Hydraulics and Pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
* Undertake planned preventative maintenance activities on automated production facilities.
* Adhere to departmental systems (Pm, recording downtime) (Pirana), Captor, and 5S standards.
* Communicate with Shift Supervisors to determine priority/urgency of required repairs.
* Maintain Health and Safety Awareness for all activities undertaken.
* Determine whether spares are required.
* Provide feedback to Shift Supervisors.
* Carry out any other duties, including overtime, relevant to the post which may arise.
Key Qualifications
* Mechanical Engineering Maintenance or similar.
* Relevant Electrical Installations Qualification.
* 18th Edition Regulations (Desirable).
* HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Desirable).
Knowledge and Education
* Must have relevant experience with industry standard repair equipment, e.g., Lathes, Millers, Shapers, and hand tools.
* Experience in pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
* Prior knowledge and experience of hot stamping processes (Desirable).
* Robotic maintenance and programming experience (Desirable).
* Knowledge of furnaces (Desirable).
Additional Information
Must be able to work onsite from our Wolverhampton facility.
