The Opportunity
Our Client, a World recognised and respected Automotive OEM Manufacturer based in Buckinghamshire, are actively seeking an experienced customer facing Automotive or Motor Trade Service Advisor / Service Reception Engineer to join their highly successful team with immediate effect on initially an on-going Contract basis (Inside IR35), but with high likelihood of this position being made permanent in the future. On offer to the successful candidate is a competitive, albeit negotiable hourly rate, based on relevant experience.
Your duties and responsibilities will be:
Reporting to their Service Manager, you will have responsibility for:
Creating outstanding customer confidence in the service offered by the company by ensuring a professional performance and exceptional commitment to customer care.
Ensuring the highest standard of courtesy and integrity when interacting with customers and members of the public.
To receive customer enquiries by telephone, email and in person and then successfully convert these into firm bookings.
To maximise service sales and profitability by selling core, value added and incremental products.
To record accurately vehicle information, refer to service histories and effectively follow-up and prospect customers to secure repeat and incremental business.
To effectively operate the workshop loading system adding incremental work where adequate resources exist.
To enhance the reputation of the company at every opportunity when interacting with others.
To facilitate the efficient operation of the workshop through the avoidance of non-revenue or diversionary activities. You will have the following qualifications & experience:
Should ideally be educated to at least GCSE level or equivalent, although plenty of relevant experience will be considered.
You should be an experienced Automotive or Motor Trade Service Advisor / Service Reception Engineer who has excellent customer service and facing skills.
You will have strong written and verbal communication skills.
You must be self-starting, highly motivated and be able to operate with little supervision.
You will be computer and IT Literate. It’s great if you also have the following:
Automotive / Motor Trade / Dealer experience with plenty of knowledge and skills in this domain.
An understanding of servicing and maintenance schedules is desirable.This position is available with immediate effect.
