You will play a huge part in ensuring ASOS’s consumer facing PR is best in class. With a totally refreshed approach, you’ll be a key player in defining how ASOS works with core media in the content and event spaces. This is to raise awareness of ASOS across new touchpoints and elevate our brand on our various channels for our customers in all territories. The Senior PR Executive will work across multiple projects, but with a primary focus on media relationship building, creating engaging press activity, and supporting with fulfilling brand briefs that serve growth through excellent, engaging brand content that resonates with fashion loving 20 somethings. You’ll manage a consumer media roster (which includes VIP contacts), that you will service end to end, from supporting media placement planning and requests, gifting, hosting at press events, showroom management and supporting on PR campaign fulfilment. You will additionally support with conceptualising and executing creative and impactful event activations (including press trips) that inspire brand connection and engagement. It will be your responsibility to ensure that our core media and talent audiences are obsessed with ASOS, have a great experience working with us, and always want to do more. The Details Support in executing the development and roll-out of ASOS’s newly reimagined global PR and talent strategy. Relationship management – working with a broad remit of industry contacts, ranging across but not limited to, media contacts, stylists, talent agents and internal stakeholders to always ensure our external content approach is in line with our target audience. Drive forward ASOS newly adopted VIP, talent and media gifting monthly strategy to support brand awareness and heat across social channels and beyond. Contribute to the development and expansion of ASOS’s influencer community with a view of gaining / retaining ambassador share aligned to core competitors within market. Build a credible and culturally relevant VIP roster that can be engaged for ad hoc projects, media ops, dressing and event opportunities. Support with concepting and executing creative and impactful PR led event, showroom and brand building activations (including press trips) that inspire connections and engagement between our brand and our key press and talent contacts. Support on servicing PR showroom-based media / stylist / VIP talent requests that are relevant for the ASOS consumer. Support PR Lead, Senior PR Manager and Senior PR Events Manager with concepting fun and engaging PR activity, campaign execution and post campaign reporting. Operating the management of the ASOS press showroom to facilitate relationship building, product loans and seeding, events, in-house activations, and content servicing from a designated in-house space. Ensure ASOS new brand launches and product messaging is best in class and proactively serviced to relevant industry contact bases across the fashion and beauty space to align to key business marketing initiatives. Support post campaign business reporting on PR and Talent led activations that support wider marketing function. Support budget co-ordination with the internal senior management team, IP team / and any core project teams to ensure budget spends remain within forecast. Be a constant champion for PR and talent in the business with one eye on what our competitors are doing. Supporting our culture by championing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies. Qualifications About You An enthusiastic team player with a genuine obsession for all things content related, especially in the remit of digital and print media and social media spaces. Strong existing relationships and contacts within the fashion and beauty media landscape, VIP, and talent space. Experience working directly with fashion and / or beauty media, talent, and agents across a spectrum of project briefs related to organic brand placement. A strong understanding of the media and social media landscapes. Particularly UK based fashion and beauty media, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. Fully immersed in youth culture and digital trends. Harbouring a real interest in the development of the digital media and social media landscapes. Excellent organisation skills, and the ability to keep projects moving and ensure deadlines are met. Management skills to oversee instruction and development of junior team members. Ability to act as an ambassador for the ASOS brand in all capacities. An interest in fashion, trends and pop culture our 20-something audience love. And passion for the ASOS brand.
