About the role…
This is an exciting time to join Leo Workwear’s friendly and successful team, we are very busy developing new products as well as evolving our established lines.
Working with multiple departments across the business, you’ll play a pivotal role in bringing new products to market that are worn across multiple industries such as construction, rail and highways.
Playing a vital role in the Product Development Team, this role will include:
* Creating product visuals from a brief and presenting them back to the product development team
* Create visuals of bespoke customer developments, working with the Special Projects Manager
* Working with the product development team to oversee the new product process, tracking timelines and ensure projects follow a critical path – scheduling and leading regular garment developments meetings with key members of the team.
* Provide accurate technical information to design and development packs, including measurements and construction details.
* Measuring & sending comments on samples to suppliers. Ensuring all sample comments are clear and concise, and analysing product patterns where necessary to provide detailed and accurate technical feedback.
* Leading wearer fit meetings from a technical standpoint.
* Supporting the Purchasing team with any technical garment queries required by suppliers.
* Conduct market research and trend analysis to inform design direction and innovation.
* Visualise the branding or embellishments of stock products as requested by customers
You will…
* Be a graduate in a relevant degree or be able to demonstrate your experience in a relevant role
* Have experience in using Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator
* Have excellent attention to detail
* Have a passion for garment design
* Possess the ability to organise workloads, delivering work from different departments to varying timescales
* Have strong written communication skills
* Be approachable and comfortable/confident working with multiple departments across the business.
