We are currently recruiting for an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Primary School in Studley. This role offers excellent flexibility, allowing you to work on a day-to-day supply basis and adjust your schedule as needed. As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you'll be a key part of the classroom, supporting both individual and group learning activities. The position is easily commutable from several nearby areas, including Redditch, Droitwich, and Rubery. As a Early Years Practitioner you will be responsible for: Provide class-based support in Nursery and Reception settings. Assist the Class Teacher in implementing the National Curriculum and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Support the delivery of activities to encourage developmental milestones in children aged 0-5. Work closely with the Class Teacher to assess and track pupil progress. Foster a positive learning environment in line with the school's values and ethos. Required Skills and Experience: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally in Early Years or primary school settings. Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Birth to Five Framework. Passion for supporting the development of children aged 0-5. Ability to assist in planning and delivering creative lessons tailored to individual student needs. A commitment to safeguarding and child welfare. Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification. Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEND) is desirable.
