About the role:
As the Lecturer in Aviation and Travel & Tourism you will deliver high-quality and effective teaching and learning to Bournemouth and Poole College students from Level 1-3 Aviation, Travel & Tourism. The post holder will also act as a personal tutor to students.
Responsibilities as our Lecturer in Aviation and Travel & Tourism will include:
To contribute to the development and delivery of all our Aviation,Travel & Tourism courses
To contribute to high-quality learning experiences using a variety of teaching and learning methods based on current best available practice
To create an outstanding student experience which leads to progression or employment
To provide academic and pastoral support to students in accordance with agreed procedures
To participate in the College's appraisal process and to undertake any training that may be appropriate
As our Lecturer in Aviation and Travel & Tourism, you'll ideally have:
Level 2 (or equivalent) English and Maths
Teaching Qualification or willingness to achieve within 2 years.
Graduate in relevant subject area
Minimum Level 3 or Graduate in the relevant subject area, such as L3 BTEC Travel & Tourism
Vocational expertise within the Travel & Tourism and Aviation Industry, including Air Cabin Crew
Competent in Microsoft Office applications, including word, excel, powerpoint.
Current evidence-based practice in Aviation, Travel & Tourism Industry
