Division Info:
The Landing Gear Market specializes in the design, qualification, manufacture and repair and overhaul of landing gears and flight critical components to a customer base that extends from the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to the Operators in both the commercial and military markets.
Summary of Position:
The Quality Inspector will work closely with the manufacturing teams at Runcorn and where relevant with Manufacturing Engineering, Design and Procurement Departments to facilitate the Non-conformance Management Process within specific project teams. This role will be focused on releasing Civil and Military components to the MRO and OE customer base.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Ensuring compliance with standards from regulatory authorities.
2. Promoting improving quality standards by participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
3. Department procedures including technique sheets and standard operating procedures.
4. Ensuring product conformity.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
1. Essentially 5 years Aerospace experience, ideally with exposure to a process environment operating under BSI standards.
2. Experience in quality systems including product controls, product validation, document control and generating.
3. Computer literacy.
4. Familiarity & working knowledge of EASA Part 145, AS9110.
