We are looking for a driven professional to help transform our startup into a global scale-up by optimising our business systems and processes. In this role, you will analyse current workflows, identify areas for improvement, and serve as a key liaison between our IS function and various business units.
You will collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver technical solutions that align with user needs, expanding your knowledge of both our business operations and IS/IT capabilities along the way. The scope spans end-to-end processes across Finance, Supply Chain, CRM, Document Management, Project Deployment, Product Lifecycle Management, and Engineering Tools. This is a pivotal position for someone eager to shape an evolving organization and support its rapid global growth.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Break Down User Requirements: Deconstruct user needs to produce clear problem statements, paving the way for effective solution development.
2. Stakeholder Communication: Clearly articulate system, process, and application issues to senior management, end users, and department heads.
3. Requirements Planning: Design and oversee processes for gathering user needs and relevant data, engaging all necessary stakeholders.
4. Process & System Mapping: Create user flows, wireframes, and comprehensive business process maps to illustrate both the current and future state of systems.
Skills and Experience:
1. Business Analyst Certification: A recognized qualification in business analysis.
2. Extensive Business Analysis Expertise (5–10+ years): Proven track record of applying business analysis tools and techniques, including requirements gathering, use case analysis, and formal modelling notations (e.g., BPMN, ArchiMate, UML).
3. Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to engage and align multiple stakeholders.
4. Agile Environment Experience: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting.
5. Data Analysis: Proficiency in interpreting and leveraging data to drive informed decisions.
6. Accounting/Business Qualification: Preferably a professional certification or demonstrable experience in accounting or related business areas.
7. IT/Technology Project Experience: Background in delivering business analysis within technology or IT functions, including project planning, RAID management, and ongoing control.
8. Self-Motivation & Adaptability: A dynamic approach with the ability to prioritise and execute tasks under pressure.
9. Customer-Focused: Proactive attitude with a strong service ethos, supporting and collaborating with internal end users.
10. Financial & Business Process Understanding: Familiarity with functions like customer support, design engineering, field service, marketing, project delivery, supply chain, and sales.
11. Collaborative Mindset: Comfortable working in cross-functional teams, engaging with solution user groups and partner ecosystems, and learning from various industries.
12. Detail-Oriented: Meticulous approach to work while balancing multiple priorities.
13. Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrable skill in diagnosing issues and delivering robust, data-driven solutions.
