An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Nurse to join the Respiratory team on ward 9. The successful post holder will work alongside other members of the team to deliver high quality compassionate care and support patients to meet their daily needs.
The ward is busy with a high patient turnover and the position requires a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who has knowledge or experience in delivering patient care. You will need to possess good communication and interpersonal skills. A polite and courteous manner towards patients and relatives will be essential for this role, together with your ability to work under pressure as part of the team on a busy medical ward.
The successful candidate must be caring, compassionate and possess a positive attitude to supporting colleagues in the delivery of high quality, safe, effective care for our patients.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate would be expected to work as part of the team to deliver high standards of patient care responsive to patient's needs. There would be an expectation that you would be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts days, nights and weekends in order to accommodate the needs of the service.
The post holder will possess the ability to be able to work alone and with the wider supporting team, and work collaboratively with external agencies. You will be expected to demonstrate and role model the uppermost professional standards.

Job responsibilities

The successful candidate should have a passion for Nursing and providing the highest standard of patient centered care.
