As an Administration Assistant, you will work within a team of administration staff to ensure prescriptions are filed, sorted, and retrieved in a timely manner to aid the Pharmacy's dispensing process. Duties will include, but not be limited to:
* Raising purchase orders within the pharmacy for stock items
* Processing prescription on our internal IT System
* Troubleshooting any issues which may cause delays to patient’s receiving their medication.
* Using a bespoke scanner to accept and process prescriptions
* Liaising with internal colleagues and external stakeholders to ensure our patients’ prescription journey is smooth and they receive the best possible service.
* Maintaining stock levels and updating spreadsheets for internal marketing material
To be successful in this role, you must be organised with a methodical approach to your workload. You will need to maintain accuracy in all tasks and be able to ensure the detail is always right.
It is essential you:
* Have worked to structured policies and protocols
* Work well within an immediate team and can build relationships with the wider company
* Appreciate the high importance of confidentiality
* Have experience working to tight deadlines and KPIs
* Have previously worked in Administration
* Hold a full UK driving licence
Although not essential, it would be beneficial to have a familiarity with pharmacy dispensing processes and CBPM products.
