As the Occupational Health Practice Manager, you will lead the operational activity of the Occupational Health function, ensuring compliance with legal requirements of data protection and patient confidentiality. You will work to review the delivery of a quality Occupational Health service, focusing on physical and mental health science trends, and developing and maintaining employee Occupational Health services through the review and implementation of administrative procedures.
What you’ll be doing
1. Support the Director of Occupational Health, Hygiene & Wellbeing with negotiation and delivery of all procurement and service contracts/frameworks.
2. Utilise ScottishPower procurement processes, managing invoices and goods received notices.
3. Provide monthly Occupational Health budget reports and forecasts.
4. Manage patient records and eOPAS IT systems to ensure GDPR compliance against standards and KPIs.
5. Liaise with Occupational Health clinical staff, overseeing daily practice operations, including appointment scheduling and maintaining adequate stocks of clinical consumables.
6. Evaluate appointment procedures and patient services, recruiting, training, and supervising new Administrative employees.
What you’ll bring
You will have previous experience as a Medical Administrator in a clinical setting, with strong oral and written communication skills. You should have the ability to problem-solve using your organisational and medical administrative experiences, and hold knowledge of GDPR and the ability to maintain confidentiality in a pressurised environment. Experience using eOPAS at an advanced level is essential.
