Title: Trainee Engineer
Reports to: Project Manager
Hours of work: Contractual 40 hours per week, with a requirement to work beyond these hours.
Job purpose:
Install, factory commission, onsite commission, repair, and maintain company products on construction sites and at customer premises, maintaining relationships with customers. Reporting to the Project Management team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation, commissioning, and repair of Excool units. International work and regular absences from home are an important part of the job. Engineers are expected to stay away during the week.
Engineers will be subject to an emergency on-call rota to respond to emergency call outs at customer premises. You will also be subject to a discretionary performance-related bonus scheme.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
1. Respond in a professional manner to all assigned works.
2. Investigate, diagnose, and repair faults. Report any critical issues immediately to the Project Team.
3. Read, understand, and comply with all procedures within our policies.
4. Perform all works in a safe manner in line with the company H&S manual.
5. Keep the Projects team informed of works schedule to maintain customer satisfaction.
6. Ensure spare parts are accounted for and reported to the service manager.
7. Submit detailed reports and all other appropriate paperwork in a timely manner following all company procedures.
8. Inform the client of the works carried out at their premises, ensuring a professional and effective flow of information with clients and other team members.
9. Have basic knowledge and ability to complete mechanical, plumbing, and electrical tasks.
10. Be able to read, understand, and follow drawings and schematics.
11. Assist with maintenance tasks as required.
12. Understand each component within the Excool unit and its operation.
13. Support the on-call system as a call-out engineer.

Requirements:
* Must hold a valid passport and clean driving licence.

Pay: £25,000.00-£27,500.00 per year
