We are looking for an enterprising Paramedic Practitioner to join our established team of 2 FTE paramedics who work across both the London Ambulance Service (LAS) and Cranbrook PCN which has a patient population of 72,000. You will be working across 11 General Practices alongside a multi-disciplinary team. Your role will be varied and wide-ranging, supporting population health management for day-to-day demand via telephone triage; treatment of minor ailments and injuries; medicines supply via patient group directions; and home visits, supporting the Enhanced Health in Care Homes Service. Main duties of the job
Cranbrook Primary Care Network wishes to recruit up to 2 WTE Paramedics to join our multi-disciplinary team. The post-holder will work autonomously alongside the GP Practices in the PCN, acute care teams, and within the community at an advanced level of practice, using their enhanced clinical assessment and treatment skills, to provide first point of contact for patients presenting with undiagnosed problems, supporting the rapid assessment of same-day presentations.
There is a strong focus on teamwork as the paramedic role is the key interface between General Practice and community services such as care homes, social services, and community nursing teams.
The successful candidate would be an experienced paramedic with additional post-graduate study at Level 7 from an accredited UK university and will be registered with the HCPC college of paramedics.
