We are embarking on exciting changes to further develop and expand our parks hospitality, event and function offer and are looking for an enthusiastic individual, experienced in working in the hospitality sector to join our team.
Acting as an operational expert, you will support our venues in a consultative role in identifying opportunities to optimise overall food and beverage service and financial performance.
We are looking for someone with great communication skills, who is passionate about delivering customer service excellence, able to plan ahead whilst delivering on the day, and has a great eye for detail.
Key Role
* Working autonomously to develop the food and beverage offer and initiatives, as well as maintaining and enhancing existing operational performance, whilst ensuring compliance.
* Responsible for the efficient catering provision and development across a range of venues and facilities.
* Implement and monitor food and beverage standards, creating action plans for each venue when necessary.
* Drive partnerships with critical partners, developing strong working relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and the local community.
Key Tasks
* Develop and oversee the overall catering offer and delivery at Hainault Forest, Fairlop Waters, and Owls Play Centre.
* Develop and deliver our food and beverage offer at the Kenneth More Theatre and Valentines Mansion.
* Oversee stock management and control at all sites.
* Liaise and negotiate with all catering suppliers.
* Oversee staff catering training and development.
* Liaise with Venue Managers to develop catering and function offers.
Key Experience
* Experience of setting up catering operations, systems, and procedures.
* Experience of Food and Beverage management.
* Experience of developing and training staff for F&B delivery.
* Experience of delivering catering services in multi-activity venues.

* Capability to contribute to the wider strategic development of the organization.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills – ability to work and interact.
* Able to create sound processes, incorporating risk assessments and performance measures.
* Ability to work well under pressure.

* Knowledge of Licensing Regulations.
* Knowledge of Food Hygiene Requirements.
* Knowledge of Forecasting and budgeting menus.
