Business Development Manager Airlines and Airports

As our Business Development Manager for Airlines and Airports, you will be results-driven and drive strategic growth through new business development and relationship management with Regional Airlines and/or other Aviation customers. This role focuses on identifying opportunities, generating leads, and cultivating relationships to convert leads into partnerships. You will act as a key point of contact for our clients, helping them navigate our solutions and improve their digital transformation journey.
Responsibilities:
* Proactively identify and generate new leads through research, industry events, and networking within the regional airline sector.
* Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to create tailored campaigns aimed at attracting potential airline clients.
* Drive business growth by securing meetings with decision-makers at regional airlines or other customers and progressing opportunities through the sales pipeline.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing regional airline clients, acting as their trusted advisor for Digital, Cloud, and Data solutions.
* Engage regularly with airline stakeholders to understand their business needs, provide product demonstrations, and position our solutions as their preferred choice.
* Address client queries, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Develop and execute comprehensive sales engagement strategies to drive the growth of our Digital, Cloud, and Data Transformation services within the aviation industry.
* Lead the proposal and negotiation process, working closely with internal teams (e.g. Pre-Sales, Solutions, Legal) to craft compelling, tailored solutions for clients.
* Monitor the competitive landscape, industry trends, and client needs to refine sales strategies and capitalise on emerging opportunities.
* Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets by expanding our presence with regional airlines.
* Prepare accurate forecasts, sales reports, and performance analyses for senior management to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
* Work closely with the finance team to ensure proper invoicing and resolve any billing issues as required.
Required Skills:
* Proven experience in business development, selling Digital, Data or Cloud services.
* Demonstrable success in business development including New Logos and managing client relationships in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong understanding of Digital, Cloud, and Data Transformation solutions.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders at various levels of an organisation.
* Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently whilst collaborating effectively with internal teams.
* Ability to travel across Europe for client meetings and industry events as required.
* Fluency in English; additional European languages would be advantageous.
