Job Title: IT Support Engineer (Contract) Location: Ipswich Pay: £130 - £140 per day (Inside IR35) Contract Length: 3 months Industry: Education: Enhanced DBS required on the update service Start Date: Monday 16th December Interview: Immediate availability About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Support Engineer to join our team for a 3-month contract. You will be working across multiple schools in the Ipswich area, providing high-quality IT support to a variety of users. The role requires quick problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, and technical expertise in managing IT systems. Key Responsibilities: Provide first and second-line support to end users Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues. Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot devices such as laptops, desktops, and printers. Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory and other systems. Install and configure software and ensure all systems are running smoothly. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring users are supported effectively and efficiently. Key Requirements: Proven experience in IT support roles, ideally within MSP and education environments. Strong troubleshooting skills with experience in Windows OS, Office 365, and Active Directory. Knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP). Ability to work independently and within a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
