Our client are a growing SME manufacturing company in Mansfield, there is an immediate opportunity a Management Accountant to join their finance team on an initial 12-month contract. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts. Support budgeting and forecasting processes, providing detailed analysis to help management with decision-making. Conduct variance analysis between actual and budgeted performance, offering insights and recommendations for improvement. Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors as needed. Monitor cost control across the manufacturing operations, providing detailed cost analysis to improve profitability. Collaborate with department heads to prepare financial reports and performance analyses. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience as a Management Accountant, ideally in a manufacturing or SME environment. CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified (or finalist) or equivalent experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong Excel knowledge. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
