Corporate Travel Manager
Responsible to: Group Procurement Director
Responsible for:
* Support the Group's UK-based businesses and (selected) European operations with business travel requirements
* Regular engagement with, and support to Executive and Director EAs for all travel requirements
* Research and solve problems related to reservations
* Ensure that bookings made via the preferred Travel Management Company (TMC) adhere to published travel policies
* Support the Finance function by providing accurate travel-related spend information, seeking to reduce business travel expenditure
* Identify and communicate recommendations to departments e.g., efficient, and alternative routes, lowest available fares, travel products and services
* Manage relationships with key travel partners, including the TMC, rail providers, and major hotel chains
* Line management of the colleagues within the Travel team, ensuring provision of a consistent, compliant, and high-quality service for business travelers

Skills/Experience/Knowledge required:
* Experience of booking high volume and high-complexity multiple-leg international itineraries
* Significant knowledge of working to established travel budgets for domestic and international travellers
* Demonstrable experience of analyzing and extrapolating Excel-based data for periodic updates to business stakeholders
* Experience of analysing costs, and collaborating with key suppliers to reduce travel expenditure
* Ability to assist in all aspects of arranging and booking travel e.g., air, rail, hotel, car etc.
* Ability to work autonomously, independently and utilize creative problem-solving skills
* Capable of prioritizing, multi-tasking and effectively managing high volumes of bookings
