Salary: Leadership Pay scale: L5 £56,320.00 to L9 £62,019

We are seeking an outstanding leader and subject expert in English who is ready to join the Extended Leadership Team and lead a key learning area in one of our two Mossbourne secondary academies in Thurrock. You will be responsible for setting exacting high standards and providing expert support for both students and staff in the English Learning Area and beyond. You will oversee a significant budget, lead curriculum and teaching and learning development within the English Learning Area, and develop and support the strategic vision of the academy as a member of the Extended Leadership Team. As a leader within the academy, you will embody the federation’s ethos and foster a culture of ambition, growth, and excellence.
We are looking for a leader with the vision, grit, and academic acumen to support and develop the English Learning Area’s success.
