Teaching Assistant Needed We work closely with a Primary School that is based in Lydney, GL15, that is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join them in September on a part time basis. The role itself will be a more general TA role, supporting a KS1 class. This would entail supporting the students with their learning and the Class Teacher with ensuring the lessons go to plan. This will be a part time role, mornings only, and would be 8.30-12.30 Mondays to Fridays, and would run from September through to the end of the academic year (July 2025). The school is a small school but is a lovely place to work in. It is in the heart of Lydney and is easily accessible via various bus links, and also has on-site parking. The idea candidate will uphold these values and strive a create a supportive learning environment. You must be reliable as consistency is key for the support of the children. What will you do on a daily basis? Support the teacher in their teaching of the class, ensuring any tasks are completed which would aid the lesson plan. Ensure the students are supported and get the additional help with their learning. The role could include intervention sessions and group sessions.
