We’re looking for a creative individual with experience in capturing and editing property images to a high standard. We brought to market over 1100 properties in 2023 as a group and are now looking to invest in our second photographer as a result. You will be out on the road, meeting clients, representing the brand, and photographing their properties as well as completing floor plans (training can be provided).
This is a unique opportunity for a skilled photographer with a keen interest in property, landscape, and interior imaging. You will also be a good communicator who enjoys interacting with customers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Produce property photography to showcase our client’s properties to a high standard.
2. Take high-quality imagery of local areas and points of interest for marketing literature.
3. Ideally, have experience in drone photography and the necessary compliance surrounding this.
4. Produce technically and aesthetically beautiful images adhering to our brand guidelines and techniques.
5. Photography editing & videography.
6. Train to undertake floor plans on an ad-hoc basis when required.
7. Contribute creativity towards continuous improvement and creative solutions.
8. In the event of no external diary appointments, report to the line manager for further photography projects/tasks.
9. Attend internal meetings where creative input is required.
10. Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and appearance when attending appointments.
11. Attend occasional evening and social events to capture imagery of the event.
Personal Qualifications & Skills
1. 2-3 years’ experience in a photography role or relevant qualification.
2. Drone photography experience and ability to train these skills would be highly desirable.
3. Have a portfolio of exceptional studio-based work.
4. Adaptability in style, from people to product.
5. A can-do attitude towards making sets and problem-solving on a brief.
6. Understanding of working with a brand and how to leverage a brand through photography.
7. Knowledge/experience using DSLR cameras.
8. Understanding of working with files for print and digital.
9. An understanding of Adobe Creative Suite workflow (Lightroom, Photoshop).
Working Profile
Flexibility is available for the right person. We envisage our requirements currently to be Monday to Friday – 10.00 am to 4.00 pm with ½ hour Lunch (27.5 hours per week).
Between £18,500 and £22,000 pro-rata, depending on experience (this is the full-time equivalent of between £25,000 and £30,000).
All photography and IT equipment can be provided by Ashtons, along with a branded car.
