It is expected that you will participate in the following: Maternal and Baby routine care Maternal and Baby observations Home visits for Community role. Transcutaneous bilirubinometer readings Maternal and baby blood sampling Contemporaneous record keeping Parent education Infant feeding in line with BFI Babies requiring additional needs - you will be expected to work alongside/under the direction of a midwife to provide care to babies requiring extra monitoring and specialist care. The successful applicant will be given specialist training and induction from the midwifery education team and support from enthusiastic and dedicated midwives.
