Job summary Westbury Group Practice is an innovative and forward thinking practice who have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our Practice team as part of the the Primary Care Network (PCN) Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS). We are looking for a professional and dynamic ANP to join our team. The successful applicant will hold a Masters Degree, be qualified to Advance Clinical Practitioner level and ideally be an experienced Independent Prescriber. The post holder must be a good team player who enjoys working at the top of their clinical competency and who recognises the value of education, support and development within the work place. Main duties of the job With a practice list exceeding 24k patients WGPhave developed and invested in a large multidisciplinary clinical team to support the delivery of high quality care to our patients of all ages with a wide variety of undifferentiated conditions. The post holder will be a qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioner Nurse who acting within their professional boundaries; will assess, diagnose, and manage patients with a range of acute, non-acute and chronic medical problems. The post holder will provide both pre-arranged and same day visits to housebound patients with occasional visits to those living in care settings, demonstrating safe, effective clinical decision-making within the primary care role. The post holder will work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary general practice team to meet the needs of patients, whilst building effective working relationships with other external health care professionals. Additionally, the post holder would be responsible for the management of the Practice infection, prevention and control (IPC) policies, additional training can be provided in this area if required.
