Position: Pharmacy Service Associate
Location: On site (Winnersh Triangle)
Reporting to: Operations Lead

Role Description
The role of the Pharmacy Service Associate within the Pharmacy team requires a dynamic and patient-centric individual who wants to help patients navigate their journey through the pharmacy.
Annual Salary: £26,000 PA Pro-rata
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Answering patient queries by telephone and email
* Administrative duties associated with the processing of prescriptions
* Problem solving basic IT issues patients may have, including the use of Shopify and issues with payments
* Communicate with members of the pharmacy team and clinic to ensure medications are dispensed in a timely manner
* Support the Pharmacy team in the following areas:
* Managing prescriptions received from clinic
* Problem solving minor queries
* First point of contact for any quality issues with medication
* Supporting patients to navigate their care within the pharmacy and clinic
* Supporting administrative tasks associated with ordering processes
* Support operational and clinical recruitment and onboarding
* Be first point of contact for any complaints and incidents, collate feedback and liaise with Head of Governance on complaints and compliments
* Report incidents and significant events and liaise with Head of Governance on incidents and significant events
* Liaise with product and tech support team on technical issues
* Work closely with line manager and wider team on service improvement
* Attend work-related meetings as required
* Maintain all mandatory training and familiarity with company policies and SOPs
* Shift-based and flexible working may be required
Skills, Experience, and Qualification:
* Excellent communication skills
* 2+ years of work experience
* Experience in a healthcare environment is advantageous but not essential
* Excellent attention to detail
* Good understanding of working in a highly regulated industry and following policies and SOPs
* High level of IT proficiency
* Ability to work under pressure
