NPD Kitchen Assistant Humdinger, Heckington NG34 9JH Position Type: Full time, Permanent Hours: 37.5 Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 08:30 -16:30 (Flexible) Breaks: 30 minutes We are looking for a dedicated individual to support the NPD (New Product Development) Team in the day-to-day tasks of making, presenting, and launching new products in the nut manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will work closely with the team to ensure the creation of high-quality, innovative nut-based products, from concept to market. Prepare and package samples in the kitchen under the guidance of NPD Managers. Maintain a fully stocked NPD kitchen to support the team, ensuring all products meet quality, safety, and legal standards. Organise and conduct daily, weekly, and monthly gas testing, organoleptic assessments, and incubator tests, ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed. Assist in coordinating and facilitating customer visits. Support NPD Managers in factory product launches and trials. Perform general office duties, including filing, minute-taking, handling telephone messages, creating labels, and using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other NPD-related software. Arrange courier collections online. Utilise the ‘QAD’ system for stock and internal planning (training provided). Maintain accurate records of sample submissions.
