About the School
Clifford Holroyde is a boys secondary special school for 71 pupils and provides a very caring environment where pupils are supported to achieve their full potential. Clifford Holroyde supports pupils who have social, emotional and mental health needs. Each pupil at the school is treated as an individual and has a personalised support package to meet their needs. Due to the very effective relationships and the high quality of teaching, pupils make good progress in attainment, learning and attendance. Pupils are referred to us via the Local Authority and our intake is from across the Liverpool City region.
About the Role
The Governors of Clifford Holroyde are looking to recruit an experienced Office Administrator to join their team. We have three main priorities for appointing a successful candidate to this post and are looking for someone who:
* Has the personal, emotional and social skills to develop and maintain professional, positive and collaborative relationships with parents and visitors to the school.
* The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors to the school and is a crucial part in maintaining the professional, courteous and welcoming image of the school.
* Has the technical skills to fully exploit Microsoft office programs particularly Word and Excel, in order to benefit from all of the technical advantages such as efficiency, accuracy and professionalism.
* Must have the technical skills to use online interfaces & platforms specifically Microsoft Office 365, Office Calendars, Forms & Docs.
* Must have the ability to learn about and use to their full advantage, school specific software and management information systems such as SIMS, FMS and Teacher2Parents. Someone able to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in MS Excel will be able to develop the other necessary skills sufficiently.
* Is able to organise and prioritise their workload in order to meet deadlines.
* A highly organised person with the ability to plan their work daily and in advance and react to time critical requests will be successful.
