Job summary An opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Trainer to join our busy Digital Department. You will be based within the Hospital Information Systems team joining other trainers where you will be involved in delivering training and user support to staff working at our two hospital sites. You will deliver face to face training on a one-to-one basis in the workplace, in small groups in a classroom setting and to large audiences in a bigger venue as required. You will be expected to have a high standard of education, be highly motivated and have excellent communication and presentation skills in which to coach, educate and motivate others to learn. Main duties of the job This role will involve the training of staff, both clinical and administrative, in the use of clinical and patient information systems e.g. PatientCentre, Clinicom, EDIS and SystmOne to name a few. You will be required to assist in the planning and delivery of training sessions and be able to offer users support in their use of the systems. The post will require administrative and monitoring duties to be maintained; therefore, a working knowledge of Microsoft office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook etc will be required. You may be required to work flexible hours as the training delivery and system implementations demands. Training & support will be delivered both in training rooms and at user workstations across the trust. About us There's never been a more exciting time to join TeamQEH.
