Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) is looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, technically skilled, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Sr. Product Manager. In this role, you will drive alignment with both external and internal stakeholders to introduce new Insurance Value Added Services (VAS) products that will support the growth of the Amazon Freight Partner (AFP) program. As part of the VAS team, you will lead the product strategy and launch of new Insurance-based VAS solutions for AFPs across our EU markets to satisfy performance and adoption goals in alignment with the overall ATS strategy. You will conceptualize new products for launch, negotiate with strategic vendors to provide product features that meet AFP partner needs while aligning internal stakeholders to support the execution goals to meet product adoption and utilization targets. You will also own the long-term strategy for Insurance VAS solutions to influence Senior Leadership on the direction for our Middle Mile business.

Key job responsibilities
1. You will define new Insurance products and solutions for Amazon partners.
2. You will negotiate with strategic Insurance vendors to launch AFP specific solutions to grow adoption and utilization for the program.
3. You will work closely with a team of (Sr.) Program and Product Managers to build product requirements, drive launch execution and ensure alignment with corporate objectives and contractual obligations.
4. You will work with internal and external stakeholders in order to generate product adoption and ensure a successful implementation.
5. You will write and review business cases, perform supporting research and analysis, write specifications, and drive the product development from design to release.
6. You will be required to have clear, precise, and regular communication with all stakeholders. This includes ongoing project/program status reports as well as capturing requirements.
7. You will retrieve and analyze data using Excel, Access, SQL or other data management systems.
8. You will monitor project/product execution and ensure that the project/product delivery is to the appropriate levels of quality and in line with its target date, ensuring the overall integrity within the program.
A day in the life
Using your Invent and Simplify and Think Big skills along with data analysis, you’ll engage with external vendors on behalf of AFP partners as your customers to bring groundbreaking Insurance solutions to launch, collaborating cross-functionally and presenting your ideas in well-structured documents and analysis. You will use your business acumen and analytic skills to Dive Deep into understanding customer pain points and reacting to ensure new product features are launched to keep pace with the changing market. You’ll use data to illustrate problems and share your opinion and ideas to help find solutions. Minimum Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
2. Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
3. Experience with end-to-end product delivery.
4. Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
5. Experience as a product manager or owner.
6. Experience owning technology products.
7. Experience with product cycles of 6+ months.
8. Experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology.
9. Experience in influencing senior leadership through data-driven insights.
10. Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders.
