Position: Science Teacher Location: Southampton Start Date: January 2025 As a Science Teacher, you will inspire and challenge students to develop their curiosity and understanding of the world around them. You'll be part of a forward-thinking department, working alongside other specialists to deliver high-quality lessons that engage and motivate students. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging lessons in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students Plan, prepare, and assess work that encourages students to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and practical skills. Monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support for development. Contribute to departmental initiatives and help implement strategies for improving student outcomes. Support the delivery of extra-curricular science activities, clubs, and events that encourage students to explore the subject beyond the classroom. About You: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (NQT/ECTs welcome to apply). A genuine passion for Science and the ability to inspire students to engage with the subject. Experience teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to differentiate teaching to meet the diverse needs of learners.
