We are looking for 2 new teaching assistants for the local Bromsgrove area to start after Easter break. As the UK’s leading SEND specialist staffing provider, Axcis Education is working with a local setting which is looking for additional support staff to start in the new academic year.
- This role will be a full-time role, working Monday to Friday. You will be working 08:30 till 3:35.
- These roles are split between primary ages & secondary; you will be placed within a section of the setting which matches your skillset and experience.
- Whilst this role is initially through Axcis, the setting is seeking to appoint on a permanent basis as long as both parties are happy. At Axcis, we have successfully placed multiple permanent staff into the setting in the last year – created a wonderful start to the next step of the careers of many wonderful teaching assistants or teachers!
To be considered, you will be required to have experience supporting individuals with special educational needs (SEND). We actively advise applicants from any workforce background with this experience to apply. Prior experience with social emotional mental health (SEMH) would be highly beneficial but is not compulsory.
You will be supported throughout your time with Axcis by your local consultant, who lives in local proximity to the setting themselves. You will be provided throughout by advice & training to support you through any adaption process.
Pay is on a daily rate starting from £83.40 p/d PAYE (£95.29 p/d Umbrella), dependent on skills, experience & relevant qualifications. This will be paid on a weekly basis.
If this sounds like the next step you have been seeking, we would love to discuss the roles & the setting with you in much more detail! Please apply and our wonderfully friendly consultancy team will be in-touch to have an informal conversation & arrange an interview for the roles.
