Rate: £185 - £255 per day
Start Date: November 2024
Contract: Initially temporary until December, with potential extension to January 2025, Part Time - 3 days per week
Are you an inspiring Health & Social Care Teacher ready to make a difference in a vibrant secondary school in Tower Hamlets? We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Health & Social Care Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis to teach students across KS4 and KS5.
As a Health & Social Care Teacher, you will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that inspire students to excel in their studies. You will play a key role in helping students understand essential topics within Health & Social Care, preparing them for exams and their future careers.
Health & Social Care Teacher Responsibilities:
* Teach Health & Social Care to KS4 and KS5 students.
* Plan and deliver creative and effective lessons in line with the curriculum.
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
* Support students’ personal development and academic success.
* Work closely with colleagues to maintain high teaching standards.
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Contribute to department meetings and initiatives.
Health & Social Care Teacher Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Proven experience as a Health & Social Care Teacher at KS4 & KS5.
* Strong knowledge of the Health & Social Care curriculum.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students.
* A passion for teaching and commitment to student success.
