Our exclusive client, based in Chorley, is currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their busy team for 6 months. The business has grown rapidly over the past few years and due to this and a new system implementation, they need someone to support the finance team with the extra workload.
Duties Will Include:
* Processing purchase invoices and dealing with supplier queries
* Supplier reconciliations
* Assisting with bi-weekly and monthly payment runs
* Processing sales invoices and credit notes
* Inputting financial data
* Supporting the transactional team at month end
* Ad hoc projects linked with the transactional team and the new system
The ideal candidate will have good all-round accounts experience and be able to commit to a 6 month contract.
