Our exclusive client, based in Chorley, is currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their busy team for 6 months. The business has grown rapidly over the past few years and due to this and a new system implementation, they need someone to support the finance team with the extra workload. Duties will include: Processing purchase invoices and dealing with supplier queries Supplier reconciliations Assisting with bi-weekly and monthly payment runs Processing sales invoices and credit notes Inputting financial data Supporting the transactional team at month end Ad hoc projects linked with the transactional team and the new system The ideal candidate will have good all round accounts experience and be able to commit to a 6 month contract.
