Job Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic doctor with a desire to work in the field of Elderly Medicine & Frailty to take up a Senior Clinical Fellowship post for a 12 months fixed term contract.
The post is expected to participate in the out of hours and weekend on call medical registrar rota.
Main Duties of the Job
The wide breadth of services available at Manchester Foundation Trust allows experience of specialised clinics that might otherwise be difficult to attend. It is also ideally suited to anyone wishing to further their development as a leader, educator or quality improvement (QI) practitioner. These posts have an assigned educational supervisor and a wide range of educational opportunities available which can be tailored to the needs of individual trainees.
There is also the opportunity to attend lunchtime lectures, specialty clinics and several sub-specialty multi-disciplinary team meetings.
Minimum Requirements
We are looking for candidates with the following:
* Fully registered medical practitioner with current GMC license to practice and be eligible to work in the UK.
* Minimum of four years post-graduate medical experience
* MRCP membership (completion of Part 1 + 2 as a minimum)
* A current Advanced Life Support Certificate
* Experience in Audit or Quality Improvement
