Job Description
Care Plus are looking for caring individuals to provide Domiciliary care on a rota basis in Lisnaskea town area of Fermanagh. We have a bed rota available working a 3/4 working pattern which is Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday on Week 1 and Wednesday, Thursday and Friday on Week 2 repeating. This role involves providing care for elderly, disabled, and convalescent clients to enable them to remain in their own homes while maintaining an independent lifestyle. Sample of Most Common Duties
* Helping clients in and out of bed (using hoist if required), washing, dressing, and toileting.
* Bathing/showering clients, Personal Care.
* Meal Preparation.
* Bed making, laundry duties, shopping.
* Assisting with regular exercise (walks) where appropriate.
* Recording information on service plan sheets.
* Providing cover for other carers who are off sick or on annual leave.

Essential Criteria
* Ability to take on a range of personal tasks in accordance with each client's Care Plan.
* Ability to work as a team member.
* Use of a mobile phone.
* Access to a car.
* Good communication skills.
* Willingness to undertake mandatory training as required (e.g., First Aid, Manual Handling, Food Hygiene).
* A friendly, caring attitude.
* Ability to be flexible.
* Good organisational skills.
* Good observational skills.
* General good health.
* Enhanced disclosure checks with Access NI are required.
Desirable Criteria
* NVQ level 2 or 3 in caring desirable but not essential as training will be given.
* Experience of working in the caring field either in a formal/community setting.
* A geographical knowledge of the area.
