The role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented teacher of Physical Education with a specialism in netball to join our outstanding PE department.
This role is ideal for an ECT or someone eager to develop their PE teaching career in a supportive and inspiring environment.
The successful candidate will:
* Have a specialism and passion for netball, with experience of coaching or playing at a competitive level.
* An ability to deliver high quality sessions in at least one of our other main performance sports, (Lacrosse, Swimming, Athletics, Cricket, Tennis) and support will be given to develop knowledge in these areas if required.
* Contribute to the wider co-curricular sporting programme including fixtures and major sporting events.
* You will be joining a hard-working, lively and supportive department within a school where PE enjoys a prominent position. An independent curriculum allows for flexibility, innovation and a personalised approach to teaching and there are outstanding, well-resourced facilities. There will be opportunities to work with passionate, motivated and talented pupils, including those within the NSL pathway.
The campus is located in beautiful 35 acre grounds with good transport links and within easy walking distance of Reading Station. Salary will be offered in accordance with experience and qualifications. Salaries are reviewed annually.
