This post would be suitable for someone who is currently enrolled in a doctorate in clinical or forensic psychology or those with HCPC registration.
We will consider part time or full time.
We are St Andrew’s, a mental health charity that inspires hope. We work together with various organizations to transform the lives of people with complex mental health needs. We provide specialist mental healthcare and deliver a range of inpatient and community mental healthcare services, education, and research that helps to improve lives.
You and the role
We are currently looking to appoint a qualified or newly qualified Psychologist who has experience or an interest in working with complex and challenging patient groups, and will be eligible for, or hold HCPC registration.
Psychology is highly valued within the service and embedded within a multi-disciplinary approach. The post holder will be fully involved in the development, delivery, and evaluation of a range of assessments and formulation-led interventions. You will be joining a motivated and supportive team with a variety of therapeutic knowledge, using approaches including LMV, EMDR, DBT, and trauma-focused care in both 1:1 and group formats. There will be the opportunity to work with a variety of client groups, including older adults and adults of working age.
There will be opportunities for joint professional work and involvement in clinical supervision, support, and training, and we actively support innovation and research. You can expect to receive good support, reflective practice, and supervision and will play a vital part in the promotion of this service. Participation in continued professional development is encouraged, and divisional and charity-wide CPD events are held weekly.
In return
We offer an excellent benefits package including 38 days holiday, sickness policy on par with NHS, car lease scheme, free parking, cycle to work scheme, healthcare discounts, employee support program, and opportunities for research, training, and CPD.
